Well here I am again. I've been to this site in the past and I know it works and the people are so wonderful and inspiring. I belive I'm ready to discipline myself to loose weight. My 23 yr old son lives in Fla. and I'm planning a trip to visit him in NOV. I am so proud of him, he's had a lot of challenges in his life and he's fought them with a lot of courage and determination. I want to loose 1 lb per week so that when I visit him I will have lost 20-30lbs. If my son can conquer his demons, so can I!

MINI GOALS:
5 lbs lost -
10 lbs lost -
20 lbs lost -
30 lbs lost -
35 lbs lost -

thyroid disorder
I have thyroid issues too...loosing weight is def. a challenge, but it CAN be done. You can google how many cal. does it take to loose weight per day, then if you have a thyroid issue I was advised to deduct 200 cal. from that. I've been trying to eat approx. 1200 cal. a day. I was eating only 1000 but I think that was a bit low and my metabolism was in starvation mode and i couldnt' loose weight...i keep monitoring it though, i might have to drop back again to 1000. Good Luck!
