I'm 32 years old and 5'4" tall. I've always been a bit heavy...as long as I can remember.
My goal weight is 130 lbs. That's my scientifically determined "perfect" weight, where I am neither too fat or too thin. (Though, to be honest, I'd probably be happy somewhere around 140ish or a bit less. I might re-evaluate that once I'm in the low 150s/high 140s.)
Short term goal: to be 150(ish) by Christmas, as a present to myself!
I've been off-track for the last month, but despite everything, I'm getting back in the game. My move is complete and we are settled in our new place! It's going to be tough, especially now that the weather is starting to turn a a touch cooler, to get outside and ride and jog. But I'm here and I'm doing my best!
I have noticed that as I progress downward, the weight loss is slowing; in fact, there are times when it just plain stops or even moves in the dreaded upward direction. I know I just have to push a bit harder. I have to push a LOT harder! I want to thank all my buddies for keeping me on track and cheering me towards my ultimate goal.
Looking for some folks who want to try with me and keep me honest and losing!
