Completed Mini-Challenges
Weeks 1 to 6
Add 30 minutes of Cardio 3 times a week.
Guidelines:
No excuses. Don't let the holiday hustle and bustle interfere in your weight loss goals. Make time to get to the gym or get outside and sweat. Stretching does not count towards Cardio time.

Weeks 1 to 6
Eat Correct Proportions
Guidelines:
Approximately 4 oz is the correct serving sizes for most meats. Stick to it. For chicken and other poultry, this is roughly the size of a deck of cards. Stay away from potatoes and other starchy vegetables if possible but if you have to have them, eat them in the correct serving size.

Weeks 1 to 6
Minimize the Sweets
Guidelines:
Everyone knows that the holidays are awesome for sweets. Instead of making yourself sick by eating too many sweets, try to stay away from them as much as possible. If you absolutely must sample the sweets, stick to very small portions to nip your sweet tooth in the butt!

Weeks 1 to 6
Stay Away From High Calorie Drinks
Guidelines:
Drink water when possible and avoid things like sweet tea and egg nog. You can find unsweet tea and sweeten it with splenda or other sugar substitutes. You can also find low fat and low sugar egg nog that is acceptable. A normal calorie allowance per day is around 2000 calories a day. Eat your calories instead of drinking them. One coke is around 120 calories.
