New low. I'm officially at 50 pounds down at this moment (started at 280, now at 230). But I'm only cautiously optimistic. My goal for the week is to stay at this weight for the rest of the week and not expect miracles. When I get a new low, I know that it will bounce around and flirt there for days before going down again, so I'm happy, but I promise not to mope if I eat a pound of salad or watermelon today and go up 1.5 pounds tomorrow!
230.0 lb Lost so far: 50.0 lb.    Still to go: 81.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

That's wonderful! Getting there is only half the battle... as we know, staying there is the next half. So easy baby steps is good.

Congrats! Getting to that 50 is amazing feeling isn't it? Now go to the grocery store and pick up 5- 10 pound bags of anything...potatoes, sugar, flour. You have to hold it all at the same time. That is what you are no longer toting around with you everywhere you go. It is crazy to think in those terms...but it is what keeps me motivated.

I imagine that watermelon caused water weight of 1.5lbs..I sincerely doubt you had an actual gain from it! All that water will flush out and you'll be back on track!
