looking for advice
It really is s lifestyle change.....diets fail to keep weight off because they arent permanent changes.....it has to be something you can live with the rest of your life, really.

Weigh In Issues
That's why I switched back to an old school dial scale........every digital I'd bought was inaccurate......my rule for a scale is is HAS to match the doctor's scale, and it has to register the exact weight of a variety of weights.
When I started this, my digital POS scale said I weighed 263, but the doctor's scale weighed me in at 283!!! It was VERY disheartening to be put back 20lbs essentially. Those scale measurements were done on the same day, same clothing etc.......my scale weighed a 40lb weight at 20lbs. GRRRR.
So I switched back to the dial type, and calibrate it with weights regularly, to make sure I am where I think I am. I'd rather be accurate than not.

Noooooo. got a new scale yesterday and realize the old scale was 10 pounds off. so I changed my my goal weight back to the old one. I'm so discouraged.
