Traditional French crepes with a few healthier changes.
Ingredients
Directions
- Melt and cool margarine.
- Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Beat until smooth.
- For each crepe, lightly grease an 8" skillet and heat until hot.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter into skillet, and immediately rotate pan until batter covers bottom.
- Cook until light brown, turn and brown other side.
- If desired, spread with applesauce, jams, jellies, or other condiments. Also, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Recipe makes great consistency crepes. A bit bland, but nothing some fresh fruit and sugar free syrup cant fix.

Umm two syllables: de-lish. Quite possibly the best crepes I've ever had, and the healthier ingredients are just a bonus! Thanks for sharing :]

These are fantastic! How many crepes are in 1 serving, just out of curiosity? I put the majority of it in the fridge for later. :)

These are not suitable for Primal or Paleo! They have wheat!

I added a tsp of vanilla, and filled them with fresh strawberries! Topped off w/ a syrup I made from reduced-suger Apricot preserves, and a little water! Who says you can't diet AND eat what you like?
