My name is Donna I just turned 30 in October and I live in Northern California. I am a mother of two boys (11 and 4) and work full time (at a desk).
August 2011 is the heaviest I have ever been, and I am afraid to reach 300 pounds. I am 5'2", in a size 22 jeans, 2XL shirts, and I don't even know what size bra I should be wearing (somewhere in the G range). I want to lose my double chin, fat in my upper arms, my fingers, back, stomach, and thighs. I am hoping that once I lose all my weight my cup size will decrease so that I can have a real bra that actually fits me.
I started the South Beach Diet last week. I think this might work for me. There is no counting, and I don't have to write down everything I eat/drink. I am learning to eat healthy and make better choices. The best thing is that I am never hungry, because I am eating more now than before - I am just choosing healthier rather than fast food junk!
November 2011 - I am now in size 18 jeans and I have lost 30 pounds. I haven't checked my shirt size, but I am fitting into the smaller one's in my closet that I haven't worn in awhile. This is going really good for me, and I still love the South Beach Diet. People are really noticing the weight loss, it's great.
