Hi I am from JHB SA and is a officer in the police force. I struggled with my weight all my life due to emotional eating. I made a choice this year to lose this weight for good, and so far so good. I am in a relationship with a wonderful and caring man that supports me all the way, even joined the gym with me!!! I would like to make a lot of friends here as I believe that this will bring me to that all 30kg weight loss>...............

Atkins Diet
Since I post the topic this morning I went and did some reading on the diet and actually decided to not follow the diet. I will however cut down on carbs in the form of bread etc and try to have more fruits and veggies.

Atkins Diet
I know the diet inside out as I followed it in 2009 and I love the food and I lost nearly 30kg in 4 months, but did not stick to it till the end, ending up picking up all of the lost kg and more. I want to start this again with my husband as he is very supportive and even join the gym with me. My problem here is that he does not eat eggs or vegatbles. What do I do for breakfast for him and he cannot eat meat alone. He does love his green salad and will eat some of the veggies...........please help!!!

Oh Boy
Have to get back on track with exercise this week, did not do alot of that last week, toooo busy schedule and tooo little do you motivate yourselfs to get out there and exercise and do you change your routine to not get bored?

Exercise tips
Ok this is my exercise at the moment, is this sufficiant? Start off with 20min brisk walking on treadmill, weights for 20 min alternating between legs on one day and upper body the next day, then back to treadmill for another 20 min brisk walk? Please help as I am stuck with this routine for 3 months now, is this sufficiant and should I do anything for my bulging belly?
