Hi! I'm a 31yo mother of two, a 9yo and 5yo. I have a sweet, loving husband and a wonderful family. I work in billing at a nursing home, and really love my job! I live in beautiful KY, surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest.
Growing up, I never had an issue with weight. I ate whatever I wanted and still had a cute little figure. However, after I married, I quickly began adding the pounds. Having never had to diet before, it was all new to me, and, at the first little temptation, my diet was through. In the last 10 years, I have continued to add weight with pregnancies and stress.
I was doing great and had lost 40 lbs by Aug '12, when I started having some health problems. Pain made exercise difficult and the pounds began to return. Major surgery in Oct '13 followed by 6 weeks recovery was the straw that broke the camel's back, and I now find myself back in the 200's. Where I promised to never return. But I will not stay here...I will not quit!
I want to be healthy and fit so that I have the energy to play with my boys and spend time with my husband. I also want to be healthy so that I have plenty of years ahead of me to be with my family and enjoy life!
