Hello all,

My name represents the goal that brought me here...lose 30 lbs by 30 yrs old. I began around May 2010 with slimfast which did not work...in September 2010 I discovered the benefits of limiting carbs! Now 31 yrs old and down about 40 lbs, I want to maintain and maybe lose another 5 or 10 lbs. However, my main goal is running a 5k! I am utilizing the couch25k and seeing what this self-professed "non-runner" can do!

*UPDATE! I have gained some of my weight back. I find that running makes me a bit hungrier. However, I am seeing muscle definition which I will take! I ran two 2 mile runs so far! Still working up to my 5k :)

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh myself almost every morning. I can gain 5 lbs in a weekend! I can also lose it in one night. I would be very unmotivated if I didn't know about these fluctuations. I am currently aiming to lose 5 lbs by the 1st week of April because I know that for some reason I tend to weigh the least on the 1st week of every month.

what should my running goals be? i.e . how long should it take me to run 5km?
I too always said "I'm not a runner and never will be." But I started the couch to 5k last week. Good luck!

Size Matters?
I am an 8 in misses probably over 12 in juniors but I was really happy at a 6 in juniors about 10 yrs ago...actually happier at 4 but that's too tiny...my boyfriend would appreciate it if I kept my breasts which have already gone down at least 3 sizes since I started losing weight...everything is a double edged sword lol...I just want to wear a swimsuit and not be embarrassed and not have my thighs rub together when I want to wear shorts...hate it when they ride up!
