Hi, everyone! I hope you are well. I may have said this before, but I want to remind myself so I'm saying it again. I made a promise to myself not to eat unhealthy foods when I am at home, but at somebody else's house I can have a dessert that I normally would never eat. Between my last weigh in and today's weigh in, I went to a party for the college graduation of a relative, but I was really strict with my eating before the party and after the party. I knew there was going to be cake, but I ate cookies as well! Not a problem. The extra burned calories made up for the small gain. I have been eating strict again since Sunday morning and I don't plan on eating dessert for a long time. Click on my journal if you don't see the cartoon. :)

127.8 lb Lost so far: 74.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.2 lb a week

You are doing so well. You have a plan in place. I usually don't have cake or cup cakes around the house for me to get in to, so when I go to a party if they have cake I eat some too. BTW isn't that Sara Lee bread good? I don't even feel bad about having a sandwich with it.

Great reminders! I like how you are staying aware of your actions & still working a plan even after you have reached your goal weight! It is so easy as we all know to creep back on us when we dont remain aware & diligent in our new formed habits. Thanks for sticking around & giving us the support we all need & want. I hope we do the same for you my Friend! :D

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate your tips and knowledge in what works for you and what doesn't work. Your support and encouragement helps so much. I think we are fighting the good fight and the more we stick together the stronger we can be. We are all in this together. We can do it! :)

Good advice Deb to eat healthy foods at home, also not to deviate from your plan away from home very much. I see so many gaining hard lost pounds back on weekends and holidays and feel badly for them. You have a plan for life not a "diet" and it works.
