This is my January 2016 update. After about three years on this journey to be healthy I'm 65 pounds lighter and in better shape. My WOE is now easy for me as it was never a diet but a plan of eating that fits me. Diets do not work. I still have a long ways to go on the fitness and it will be a lifetime to keep that fitness and weight. I used have chronic pain and what a difference!!
I love my suspension trainer!! TRX videos on youtube are my go to's for exercise at home. My house is slowly turning into a mini gym though I also have a gym membership. I've also started ice skating again after 20+ years and I'm loving it!
This journey has changed my life in so many positive ways. It's not just a weight loss journey but one to face all your demons and in the end be a more positive person feeling good about yourself and your world.
I love to cook all kinds of natural foods and delve into many cuisines. I'm a leftover health food nut from the 70's who has always loved exploring cusines from all over the globe.
I am currently single 65 yo with 10 grandchildren (2 are steps), 3 great step great grandchildren. I spend alot of time at grandkids sports events and in the summer attending mud runs as one daughter and her husband race and fishing for catfish with another son-in-law.
I'm slowly remodeling my house and most of the year work on my yard and gardens, one of these days I'll get both so I'm happy with them. It's part of my journey to feel good about my life. I'm a professional longarm quilt artist but my little business (used to be fulltime) is on hold while I concentrate on my remodel. Hoping to get back to my passion my the end of the year.
I live with a chatty and very onery Quaker Parrot and a little girl boston terrier mix born 3-31-13 and a hound mix rescue pup born in July 2015. Both of my pup girls are very active and funny.
