This is my January 2015 update. after about two years on this journey to be healthy I'm 60 pounds lighter and in better shape. I still have a long ways to go on the fitness and it will be a lifetime to keep that fitness and weight. I used have chronic pain and what a difference!!

This journey has changed my life in so many positive ways. It's not just a weight loss journey but one to face all your demons and in the end be a more positive person feeling good about yourself and your world.

I love to cook all kinds of natural foods and delve into many cuisines. I'm a leftover health food nut from the 70's who has always loved exploring cusines from all over the globe. There are all sorts of interesting foods to try. I've been busy exploring vegetarian dishes from many parts of the world, I've discovered some new favorites and ingredients that are new to me.

I work full time as a customer service rep for a mutual fund company, a mentally exhausting desk job. Not a dream job but it pays the bills and has terrific benefits.

I am currently single 65 yo with 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and another grandson due in June. I spend alot of time at grandkids sports events and in the summer attending mud runs as one daughter and her husband race and fishing for catfish with another son-in-law.

I'm slowly remodeling my house and most of the year work on my yard and gardens, one of these days I'll get both so I'm happy with them. It's part of my journey to feel good about my life. I'm a professional longarm quilt artist but my little business (used to be fulltime) is on hold while I concentrate on my remodel. Hoping to get back to my passion my the end of the year.

I live with a chatty and very onery Quaker Parrot, a 9yr old pom mix male dog who thinks he's a big dog, and a little girl boston terrier mix born 3-31-13. She's a very active character-wish I had her almost never ending energy.

Agreed, reduce processed, eat your veggies, keep in mind that most "whole wheat" bread isn't, read the label; if you buy your bread spend a bit more and get the real all whole grain bread with no chemicals. It will not be fluffy. Jelly is empty calories, maybe try a nut butter.

Recommended daily intake. A very helpful feature is logging
your foods. It will calculate calories and a few other nutrients. Set up your diet information so it calculates the ones you choose. You can change your RDI from the recommended one. Fatsecret calculated mine for losing very high compared to other calculators. I changed it from 1800 to 1200, I'm below goal so I added some calories.

Finding old food entries from 2012
Click on view full diet calendar and it will show as a calendar. At the bottom you can go backwards month by month. Click on the calories door any day and it will bring up your food entries.
