Hi everyone! My name is Melissa, I'm 22, and I am a recent college graduate starting out in the real world. As for the freshmen fifteen? It was more like the senior twenty.... I'm here because I realized how unhappy I was that I let myself get to that point.

I'm from NY but I've moved to Philadelphia for my job, so I'm starting out on my own! I'm using Fat Secret as a launching point for my weight loss. I've already dropped my first 12 pounds, and now I have my last 10 to go!

I've become an avid runner, completing my first half marathon in November of 2011. I've just decided to run my 2nd one, the Philadelphia Half marathon in November 2012 with my brothers and my Dad!

The best part about this website is the support system, so feel free to add me as a buddy and we'll help each other out!

Feel free to add me as a buddy. I'd love to share goals, fears, and hopes with you :)

Mini Blenders - is ther a good one that can handle daily use?
I have the personal blender from GNC - very similar to the magic bullet. The container you blend in turns into your to-go mug. It's great! I've had it for a year and have no problems. It's about $30-40 and even comes with two blender mugs!

Kate Upton and Skinny Gurl website slam
And where exactly would these "30 lbs" of flab come off of her body from?? Some people make me sick. I'd strive to have a body that fit and lean over a skinny, emaciated model body any day of the week!

Amen, Jess.

Traveling-what now?
If you're family is going to be BBQing, try asking for (or even bringing your own) healthier options, like turkey burgers (with a whole wheat bun!) or chicken shishkabobs with lots of veggies. Honestly, I find them so much more delicious with a fantastic marinade than a store bought burger dripping in fat! Whatever you do though, steer clear of the macaroni and potato salad. No no on that much mayo!

Good luck Smile Just be conscious of your choices, and you'll do just fine!
