My name is Lara, I went up to 170 pounds - the heaviest I have ever been :(
I used to enjoy running, athletics, badminton and swimming. My turning point came when my clothes no longer fitted and I refused to buy any in a larger size!!!


Since joining FS in May 2011, I have come a long way. I have learned about portion size and that it is ok to have the occasional treat. I am so much happier now and wish everyone success on their journeys.
I have achieved most of my goals, just one remaining: to run the New York marathon. Oh and to buy a whole new wardrobe. This will be my special treat when I reach my goal weight. I guess this will take me another 4 to 5 months.

I love the "seefood" cravings, lol!

If you're anything like me, it's best not to have your trigger foods in the house. I can rarely eat just one piece of chocolate or one cookie. Once the packet is open, there is no stopping me from eating it all.
After eating clean for a while, your cravings diminish and it's easy to have a yoghurt or piece of fruit as snack.

Rude people
These people have their own insecurities. They use these remarks to make themselves feel better and distract from their own rubbish lives. It's rather sad. Simply ignore them, that shows them what a waste of time their behaviour is.

Custom Recipe Entry
Click on the persons profile (name). Go to food diary, chose a day, chose the meal you want to copy. It doesn't work through the app, you can only copy foods that you have eaten yourself recently.

Custom Recipe Entry
You can copy other people's meals by opening their food diary on the relevant day. On the right hand side it says "Copy krousea's meal or favorite food". Done!

Good work losing so much weight!
I also started Intermittent Fasting 3 weeks ago. It's amazing how quickly the fat comes off. I do alternate day fasting with a small meal in the evening of the fasting day. The next day I eat normal (no calorie restriction).
Which plan do you follow?
