I am 46 yr old woman from outside of Toronto, Canada. I have two wonderful kids and an amazing partner (second relationship after a nasty divorce 7 years ago)
I am an entreprenuer with a successful business in sports related industry. I was a competitive athlete in my youth and never really struggled with weight until I ended sports training.
I care more about how I feel than what a scale says. I love to golf and want to be competitive this summer and I know some fitness and weight loss will be a bonus.
I am doing Fat Smash as it makes sense to me. April is my month to focus on me and get back on track.

What to do for breakfast when you don't like eggs?
Protein shakes are quick and easy and you can change them up daily by adding in a different fruit. I also like the instant oatmeal with some fruit addded or a touch of cinnamon and soy milk. I also add a tbsp of egg whites ( you can buy just egg whites) and throw that in my shakes for a different low fat protein.

Brussel Sprouts
I steam them and then add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and pepper on them. Not many people like brussel sprouts. I too love them.

fat smash question
Malindo

Do you like chili? The beans in the veggie chili recipe here is very good. You could also make a low fat humus with chick peas. You can flavour that anyway you like and its not bean texture but more like peanut butter smooth.
Good luck

CAN YOU GIVE ME A GOOD DIET TO GO ON
hi

I too am 46 but only have 2 chillins Smile. There is a feature here where you can look at all the diets people are doing here and see what works for you. I have tried a few and like so fat the Fat Smash diet, but its not for everyone.

Take into account your comittment to exercise and see what works best for your lifestyle. I think a program you can adhere to and adapt as you lost to maintain is the secret. As we creep thru our mid 40's the metabolism slows so we need to up the activity and/or reduce calories. Its not that hard to understand, just often really hard to do, right?

How old are your kids?
I did see Marie Osmond and Valerie Bertinelli, both look fantastic and over 40. Inspiring for sure!
Find what works for you and good luck with achieving yhour goals. I love this site for helping me to stay on track with a diet calendar that does all the calculating for you.

Cheers
