Wow...what can I say about me and dieting? It's been a rough ride the past several years. I was always overweight as a child. When I was 19, fed up with dieting and extremely depressed, I became anorexic. Then I went into recovery a couple of years later to get healthy. Now, three years after recovering from that eating disorder, I seem to have developed a new one: binge eating! I am trying to stay on track, lose about 80 pounds (don't worry, I currently weigh 215 at 5'6'', so it's a perfectly healthy goal) without slipping into old bad habits. Basically, I will be adding exercise to my daily routine (well, 5 days out of seven, anyway) and trying to cut out on the binges completely. I'm on my way to being the healthiest I've ever been!

Why did I do it?
I ended up eating half of the pint on Saturday, and just letting the rest go to waste, melting on the countertop. Thanks for the tips! I will try to not let this happen again. Smile

Why did I do it?
I bought a pint of ben&jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Any thoughts on why I sabatoge myself this way? To my credit, it's been in the freezer for almost a week untouched. But, still. I can't stop thinking about it and it's driving me crazy!!!!!!! Rolling Eyes

Diet Soda addiction
I too, am a diet soda addict. I have been able to cut it down to 3-4 cans/day and this is a victory for me. I am hoping to wean off of this demon eventually! For me, it's diet coke...

Am I eating enough?
thanks everyone... I guess I won't worry so much about it, unless I have a plateu... I have been eating all of my weekly points every week (my boyfriend likes to go outout to eat.) and have also been accumulating the activity points. I haven't been eating the activity points to help the weight loss. But again, I guess that I just will stop worrying about it since I am eating all of my points. As to the protein and dairy, I'm definately getting enough, though I try to eat more of a vegan diet most days, so usually not much dairy.
