I'm 38 and I've been struggling with my weight for my entire adult life. I started packing on the pounds when I left college. During the past 18 years I've lost some and gained more. I'm at my heavyest now and know that I need to make this change NOW. I also have PCOS which makes losing the weight more difficult, but no more excuses. I'm no longer letting the people in my life influence my food and actiivty choices. I can only control what I do and that's good enough for me. I started this journey in March and I've lost 20 lbs. I want to see gradual results to know that I'm doing this the right way for me.
Short Term Goal: Get below 200 lbs before July 18th (Vacation)
Long Term Goals: (hope to acheive before I turn 40 in 2010)
- Reach healthy weight
- Lower my blood pressure
- Lower my cholesterol
