Took more steps yesterday, but didn't burn as many calories???
According to my Fitbit, I took more steps and worked out longer yesterday, but I burned less calories than I did the previous day. Can someone explain why? I'm a little confused. It's slightly discouraging.

Anyone know any low-carb or no-carb snacks?
Favorites:

-Chocolate-Peanuter Butter Protein Shake (I use unsweetened cocoa powder with a vanilla protein shake mix...1/4-1/2 c. almond milk with the rest of the liquid being water, lots of ice, and 1-2 tbsp. of peanut butter. If I don't have the protein shake powder, I'll just use everything else with 1 packet of Truvia sweetener. Sometimes I use 1 1/2 or 2 depending on what kind of day I'm having. lol I'll sometimes also add chia seeds, but often times not with this particular shake.)
-Lettuce Wrap #1 made with rotisserie chicken. I shred some carrots, chop up some flat leaf parsley and/or fresh mint if I have any and stuff my wraps with that. I also make a little sauce made of mayo, soy sauce (careful with the soy sauce since that's high in sodium and carbs), and either add ground cayenne pepper OR a little bit of Sriracha....then spread a little of this sauce on the lettuce before stuffing it with all the other ingredients. The sauce sounds weird, but eaten with everything it's really good.)
-Lettuce Wrap #2 made with rotisserie chicken. Make a fresh salsa or pico de gallo. Shred the chicken and roll it up with the salsa/pico de gallo...and you're golden!

-Smoothie......made with pineapple, a little bit of grated ginger, carrots, spinach, chia seeds, lots of ice, water, and Truvia sweetener. Refreshing on a hot day! ....however, this one might have more carbs in it. lol Not sure. Never checked. BUT....it's good for you, so I don't worry too much about it.

-Smoked Herring Salat (my neighbor's German chef taught this to me. You have to watch the carbs with this...or at least *I* do, because I love pickled beets and capers, so I tend to want to put more of this in there. However, it's one of my favorite snacks. It's just smoked herring that you "shred" or take a part so that you have smaller pieces; mixed with chopped up pickled beets, a little bit of capers, mayo, a little bit of diced onion, a small amount of chopped apples if you have any, and a splash of vinegar or pickled beet juice. Sounds odd, but I absolutely love this. Like I said, I really have to cut back on the beets and apples in this though, if I want low-carb.

-And something super simple is a can of drained tuna or chicken with a little mayo, plus black pepper. Easy peasy and quick. If it doesn't look like "enough substance", use it in a lettuce wrap to make yourself think you're eating more. lol You can, of course, add a little bit of onions or pickles....but when I'm in a hurry or just down right starving, I'll eat canned chicken or tuna with mayo and call it good. HTH!

Unexpected ERROR Page
WHY do I keep being brought to the "An Unexpected Error Has Occurred" page??? Every time I try to put in my weight and journal entry, I get sent to that page; and it's been going on for at least a year! Is anyone else having this problem???

New to Ketogenic Diet and starting it today.
I've been looking into this since last November, after a friend tried to sell me her Keto OS "shakes". (Not shakes, but powder to mix with water.) I actually wanted to try it because of the energy and sleep benefits. I have 3 kids, and one is now a toddler, so I lack in sleep AND energy. However, my friend was drinking Keto OS to help with weight loss. I figured that would be a great bonus. I took a week's worth of samples, and noticed that I did have some weight loss AND increased energy....but I was also working out; so that may have helped a lot. I've since fallen off the wagon and was JUST NOW able to afford the drink mix. However, I fell off the band wagon and stopped working out. I've been sick off and on mainly because my kids get sick off and on...so my energy is really lacking now.

Anyway, that was just an intro. Sorry so long! What I'd like to know is if anyone has any tips or recommendations in regards to this "diet". I did most of my research online, but can't get on often enough because of my 2 year old. And tonight, I have to go to a *fancy* steakhouse dinner here in Texas. I'm worried I'll over eat or eat the wrong things. I know to stay away from carbs, but just as a reminder, what CAN and SHOULD I eat? (This fancy/expensive steakhouse tends to give you huge plates of food...starting with the sampler appetizer platter. Last year, I remember seeing sausage&cheese-stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon, stuffed mushrooms, some kind of shrimp...probably wrapped in bacon. lol And lots more.) PLEASE, help me with my "plan of action/attack" so I don't screw up on my FIRST day!
