I had a Nutritionist tell me long ago to just avoid all things fake -- aspartame, sucralose, margarine, etc -- she swore I was better off with a reduced amount of real butter or sugar. I think she was on to something and this was nearly 25 yrs before today's whole-food craze! Glad to hear from you, Rob :)

JMB, Onederland sometimes seems SO very far away, but when I think of it I get a very Alice-Mad-Hatter-Tea-Party feeling. I see people blowing bubbles and lots of glitter. Of course, the last time I saw Onderland I was practically a kid so perhaps, methinks, such could influence my memories of the place! :D

I've noticed the same thing. I can have Splenda with no problem, Stevia gives me an awful headache. That stuff they put in diet pepsi/coke, nope. It seems to not agree with me either.

I have found that I eat MORE when I drink diet pop. If you can keep staying from artificial sweeteners, you will be way ahead of the game. Keep up the good work!!

Really, I will try that and see what happens. Interesting. I think corn syrup is the devil, so why not aspartame too. I like my diet Cokes, but I like Iced tea just fine in the summer. Thanks for posting.
