CONFUSED???
I know exactly what you mean, Jilucky....it is a fear of success. I fight with it all the time! What ifs are awful....what if they don't like you skinny What if you get skinny and then get fat again? What if you get skinny and still aren't happy?
Know that if this is something you truly want, you are totally worth it; and are truly strong enough to accomplish it!!!

Apart from the misery of thinking that peeing on stick every morning is a good way to live your life and the other dodgy risks of such low carb misery diet

Ha Laughing - not sure where you get your information but noone needs to pee on a stick, especially every day. Ketostix are a tool if one chooses to use it. Certainly isn't necessary though. There are many other signs of living in a ketogenic state.
There are no "dodgy risks" of low carb diet and FAR from misery.Rolling Eyes

1500 calories of carbohydrate and 1500 calories of fat or protein is 1500 calories of energy.

A calorie is a unit of measure, of energy, specifically thermic energy. What makes up that unit of measure is irrelevant.

A calorie is a calorie, just as a pound of feathers is the same weight as a pound of lead.

And it is just that WRONG information that I followed for two very frustrating years of trying to lose weight. I gained weight. I don't need someone else to tell me about something that I've already lived.
I'm not arguing that a pound of feathers weighs as mch as a pound of lead. Or that 1500 calories of lettuce has the same calories as 1500 calories of cake.
I'm arguing that (at least for me - and maybe I'm that very special) 1500 calories on LCHF is MUCH different than 1500 calories on HCLF. Period.
And to sit here and tell me I'm wrong just because your body works differently than mine is nothing but arrogant and argumentative.

and to add to the mix...TOM after being 77 days late and now I could gain weight for sneezing the wrong way. LOL
Just pointing out that a 20 or 30-something is going to be having a different reaction to foods than a 40 or 50-something will.
