performance: losing 0.9 lb a week

Officially began my dieting 10/1/11. When I got on the scale and saw I was up to 246. Puked up my guts. Couldn't believe I'd weighed that much. Especially considering I'm a very active person. I knew something was wrong and I had to do something.

I am a 61 year old mom of a 33 year old classically trained musician. Can you tell I'm proud? Hubby of 37 years is home with me. I more or less help him as he has MS. He's pretty independent most of the time. I am trying as hard as hell to get rid of the excess weight I've gained over the last 20 years since I had a total hysterectomy. Hormones did me in and finally found a doc who would give me Armour Thyroid and another who works with me with estrogen's, progesterone, etc.

Live in PA in the country and we're working to finish remodeling our home so we can move back to MD. Or somewhere near a city or college town.

Want to get skinny again. Son came to the house after not seeing us since Christmas and says he sees a difference in my body. Scale says very little, but obviously working out is working and it's going to muscle.

Fingers crossed.

Absolutely. We've been kept in the dark too long and it's time to know what's hurting us, our children and grandchildren.

6 Myths About Wheat
I believe he's referring to me. I myself admitted to not getting beyond the 1st point.

I have since taken the time to read it and see the relevance to wheat.

Have you read my article on GMO'S. I know someone who worked in those "laboratories" and the horror stories he told me 25 years ago are now coming to light and destroying us.

I kept an open mind and read your article. Read mine with an open mind.

6 Myths About Wheat
Thank you Mummydee. Sadly, there are those who refuse to believe the control these companies have over the people and the government. And like you said and as stated in the article I posted, there are countries around the world who have banned these practices. But not the US... lobbyists have too much pull and power. And we are the ones paying for it.

Don't really know how to approach this. Didn't get beyond the first one. Talking about GMO'S. A reality and horror show in the making in the US.

BeWellWorld.com "ABC's of GMO'S genetically modified need-to-knows. Give it a read if you like. Then plant your garden. It's still early enough to get a good crop.
