Officially began my dieting 10/1/11, when I got on the scale and saw I was up to 246.

I am a 63 year old mom of a 34 year old classically trained musician. I am working to get rid of the excess weight I've gained over the last 20 years since I had a total hysterectomy. Lost 82 then regained 20. Working on getting rid of that.

How does this site work?
Please take the time to read the pros and cons of a water only diet. There is no nutrition in water. You need food for energy. You need food to help build muscle. You can lose weight but you'll also lose muscle. I don't want to hear about the old lady (being one myself) who lost after only drinking. I don't believe it. I lost 82 lbs. but from eating healthy and exercising. The fad diets do not work. They've been around since my grandmother's time. She tried to live on grapeful and never lost. If you want to lose, do it right the first time around so you don't have to do it again in 10 years after you've gained 20 lbs, are diabetic and have high blood pressure. Common sense people. Common sense.
