I'm 29 years old and have always struggled with my weight i got married this past October and didn't lose all the weight I would have liked. I am trying to get back at a healthy decent weight. Doctors say i should be 135-140 ill be happy at 155-160!

Being the eldest of 3 Ive always been the heavier one while my brother and sister were tiny. My husband is also very slim and he eats everything! Its much harder this time around because i have to buy for the household instead of just myself and i always lost a large amount of weight when i was single, in a relationship there's that comfort zone. My hubby is finally being helpful however and supports my goals and helps me to say no to high calorie foods.

With all the health issues in my family most relating to weight gain Ive decided i need to get healthy and lose weight not only to look good but to be healthy and avoid all the medical issues I am predisposed to.

am i wrong?????!!!!!
NOT TRYING TO START ANYTHING! However I saw a post where people where complianign about people who complain about weight issues when theyre not really heavey and this was my response, i hope its usueful to some of you.

I agree with this to a point but i also sympathize with those who complain to everyone deals with their weight issues differently and while we may think oh 15lbs is no big deal to them it is and their perception is much different as most peoples are. Some peopel do try very hard and not see progress and thats discouraging they should be able to vent their discouragement they dont mean to offend anyone or annoy any of us. Some people are naturally negative and some positive we're not all as strong or weak as eachother. Try to sympathize before you get angry with people you see them much differently than they see themselves. My fiance is 150lbs and he gets very defensive about his weight and looks because he was heavy in middle school I can teven imagine him as a fat kid but if i make a joke about his eating he gets very upset i see a skinny lean man he stills sees the pudgy kid from middle school...You never know someones situation so try not to be "disgusted" or judgemental.

I need supportive friends too! Ill send a request i dont have kids but im 28 with 10 pets i view as my kids lol and im getting married this October trying to lose 40lbs by then. I started induction april 4th and messed up bad so today is my new day of induction new slate starting over. i was 212 at xmas and now im 192! I was 188 but i messed up last week badly! Im a part time college student and any support is appreciated!

You were not wrong we all have emotional confidence issues to an extent. however as stated above I would take the shot and walk with them everyone precieves themselves differently and just because theyre skinny doesnt mean they see themselves that way or that they are stuck up or judgemental. I think youre being judegemental of yourself and usign the girls as a scape goat in a sense.

Challenge yourself meet new people and walk with them, see their strengths as encouragement to improve not as a insult to your own ability. Good luck and please post what you end up doing and let us know if you took the challenge!
