Support needed on this hard journey... I am a caregiver for my mother who has chronic illness's. My husband is the only support I have to help with my mother...I still work during the day, and he stays with my mom during the day....I have turn to food for the past couple of years and the weight keeps adding up... I am at my highest weight in my life and I feel every pound. I am asking for support to overcome this eating disorder!!

I think a reward system is great, as in the past I have always rewarded myself with food...every However, I think it would be fun and more rewarding to set goals like a 20lb loss to go shopping with a budget and trying on clothes and seeing how they fit to your new seeing something on a hanger may not look as good as you imagine and might disappoint you...but think how much fun it is to try on new clothes a smaller size...and seeing how it fits your I have learned that sometimes, what it looks like on a hanger doesn't always look good on, and something I would never try... looks great on...go figure...

How to survive the Weekend
Something that helps me is to plan my meals for the weekend instead of flying by the seat of my pants....Also, not letting my self get so hungry that I make wrong choices....

Help - tips on how to get a good nights sleep (pls, pls, pls)
I found that a good walk 2 hours before bedtime will give me a great sleep. If I don't walk I don't sleep as good.

The Journey
It is all about the Journey!! You learn alot about yourself and the choices you make. While, I have taken the wrong path many times on food choices, each day we wake up with the option to make better choices. Some foods are very addictive and it takes time to break bad habits. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your JOurney and I Love the Mantra It never gets easier- You just get better!!

I need some advice
I would recommend logging your food here on site and exercise and you will see where you stand. I am currently working on 1200 calories, doesn't happen all the time but usually under 1500. Just remember with each small change you make it will make a big difference. We cannot continue with the same lifestyle and expect changes; we have to make these changes....I BELIEVE IN YOU and I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
