I'm a 41 yr old working mom of two boys ages 11 and 14. I've always enjoyed running to relieve stress and although I've always felt like I could stand to lose a few lbs, I never really had to worry too much about my weight until the last five years. After a stressful divorce and getting down to 133lbs I've now remarried to a great cook who makes me very happy... hence the 165lbs on the scale I suppose. One of the things we love to do together is workout - whether it be running trails, going to the gym or taking a power walk on the beach so we are aligned there, but seem to have a hard time being consistent. I feel like I went from 145 to 155 to 165 in NO TIME at all and it's scaring the crap outta me quite frankly. I'm hoping that by tracking everything I can get back down to where I'm feeling healthier and I'm looking for buddies to share ideas along the way.

Progress
OK - Day 3 of healthy eating, drinking, exercising and sleeping. Wow! I feel pretty good right now! It's amazing to me how quickly you can get off track and become unhealthy. For me, it's like I make one bad choice and I'm back to all of my old habits. I post this to remind myself how good I feel right now and all that it took was a little preparation each night. I need to be good to my body... it's my temple =)
