7/4/17 I'm 63F, on&off this site.Had issues weight as long as I remember. "yo-yo" dieter Last few yrs it has been up.Highest 198# I feel best 138.Tried other WOEs I felt lowcarb was best. Now I'm not sure, my wt stays at a high(160-170). Even when I watch what I eat&don't overeat, eat good. So, I'm changing my view&tring natural fruit&vegies with occasional seafood. Friends tell me not to loose. I feel better at less & need to get the weight off for ME. I was caregiver for my dad/Parkinson's & mom/Alzheimer's. In 2013 my dad passed & 2016 my mom passed. She was my best friend & I miss her. I have a FT stressful job. I have had difficult times but I feel there were things I had to go through to be where I am & it worked for the best. I am moving on with my life & doing the best I can for me! I heard something that stuck with me,failure is an event it is not who you are & if one dream falls through dream another one that is not the end of your story It has been awhile since I've been here & looked at those quotes but today it was NECESSARY for me to see them. Another one that was from a movie but surprisingly it was said by our visiting pastor in response to "It is impossible" came the response "It IS NECESSARY" which hits me more than I'm Possible(play on words)which I liked in the past BUT IT IS NECESSARY really talks to me NOW.
Years ago my up/down&slow wt loss would have discourage me But now even if it creeps down, then up, then down. It is me & I am being true to me! My goal on last Bio update was 138# weight before my March 2017 BDay which passed & I did not do that, I can blame a lot of 'issues' but its ok It is just now NECESSARY for me to eat better for me & I feel fruits & vegies is the way to go.

so what does everyone think of this.................
I also weigh daily, but wish I could hold off for weekly. Maybe I'll start just recording my weekly weight, but gee what if the day before my weekly weigh-in I'm a pound less? Oh my it is an obsession with me also.
