Update: I'm 62 F now, on & off this site and on/off my TRUE WOE.
Had issues weight as long as I remember. "yo-yo" dieter teens & 20s. In 30s weight 'sort of' stable, 40s, 50s up & down. last few years it has been up. My highest weight 198# feel best at 138-142#. Tried other WOEs feel low carb works best for me I feel good now, friends tell me not to loose BUT I really feel so much better at less and need to get the weight off for ME. A little more about me, I was caregiver for both my dad/Parkinson's, mom/Alzheimer's. In 2013 my dad passed and this year my mom passed. She was my best friend and I miss her. I also have a full-time stressful job and life besides. Even though I have had difficult times I feel there were things I had to go through and feel to be where I am now and it all worked for the best. I am moving on with my life and doing the best I can for me! I heard something that stuck with me, 'failure is an event, it is not who you are' and 'if one dream falls through, dream another one, that is not the end of your story'
My weight loss may be slow, but it is MINE. Years ago that would discourage me, but not now. Even if it creeps down, then up, then down. It is me and I am being true to me! My goal is to reach my 138# weight before my next BDay (March) and to KEEP it off :-) Be True to you :-)

My weight loss ticker doesn't work, it is stuck on 174# and won't go down when I weigh, so that is why I'm keeping an update on my signature

so what does everyone think of this.................
I also weigh daily, but wish I could hold off for weekly. Maybe I'll start just recording my weekly weight, but gee what if the day before my weekly weigh-in I'm a pound less? Oh my it is an obsession with me also.
