I am married to my best friend of 27 years. I am a full time stepmom to his 8 year old son.

I have struggled with weight my whole life and was diagnosed as obese before my first birthday.

This is not my first go around losing 100+ pounds. I was one of ediets early success stories and actually made an infomercial for them on HSN. I have also appeared locally in a CURVES for Women commercial. All of that was 10 years ago. It has taken me that long to put the weight all back on.

There are many good reasons to want to lose this weight. My two biggest are health and better sex.

10% weight loss (29.6 lbs) by 8/07/11 (done by 7/15/11)
20% weight loss (59.5 lbs) by 10/07/11

Wear orange dress on my 1 year wedding anniversay. (7/31/11 done)

I have been doing low carb for a year now and while I haven't lost all I need to, I have kept what I am losing off. I no longer consider myself on a diet. I consider myself refined carb intollerant. The remainder of my weight will come off in time. I've got time. :)

What happened?
I have been here for 2 years and it has always the meal recording feature that has kept me consistantly coming back. I go away for one weekend and BAM! Needless to say, I am very disapointed with the changes.

Sweet
I have a serving of natural peanut butter mixed with a packet of splenda, or other sweetner. Taste like the filling of a reeses.

Color coded "Weight" bars
My goal started at 100 pounds. When I lost the first 25 my color changed, so my "guess" is that it changes when ever you lose 25% of your intended weightloss. Good luck!

The Upcoming Holiday Weekend and Putting Yourself in the Driver's Seat
I too have taken charge of the menu. Sausage and cheese platter for appitizer, Shish Kabobs, grilled zuchinni, spinach salad for main meal and raspberries and cream for desert. I am so excited!
