My name is Kyley, I live in the Denver metro area and have been here for 5 years. I love it! I'm married and don't have kids...haven't been blessed yet. I have been told it could be my weight, but if it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to be, right? And I'm okay with that.

I've been working on losing weight for a long time. I've only been serious and actually working out for 3 years. I started at 287 about 8 years ago which is around the time I was told I was becoming insulin resistant and on the fast track to Diabetes. How scary is that to hear when you're only in your mid-20's?!? Up until the 2010 holidays I made it to 210. Right now I'm at 237 and am getting back on track. I joined Weight Watchers and am learning to control my portions.

My weakness is Carbs. I love bread, pasta and most anything with sugar. I'm going for a lower carb diet, but also keeping in mind that I shouldn't be upping my fat intake to substitute for the carbs.

Best wishes to everyone on their journey to a healthier lifestyle.

I wasn't trying to imply anything about body image---just to not get discouraged as we all have bad times. We each have our own journey in life, whether it's to lose weight, gain weight, build self confidence, be more outgoing, or just to be happy. I'm sorry if my post was taken the wrong way, that was not my intention.

Why would you call someone an idiot, especially here?? This is supposed to be for support and motivation...not criticism!!

Golden Rule:
If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all

worldmuseum-don't get discouraged! we ALL have those times in our journey that make us want to give up, just remember:

'We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong, the amount of work is the same'

Hope you're feeling much better!! Have a great week!

Confession Time...what's your secret?!?!?!?
I hate the first 10-15 minutes of EVERY workout. I rely on the TV's at the gym to distract me. If I don't have my nike/ipod chip with me, I sometimes use that as an excuse to not get on the treadmill.
