Here I am, soon to have my 57th birthday. My two children are grown and I have my first grandchild. Where have the years gone?
I really need to slim down and exercise. My dilemma is food is "comfort" for me and I don't like to exercise.
I have several motivations for loosing weight that I will list to keep me on track.
My health is not too bad yet and I want to keep it that way!
-Lipids controlled with medication (but dad died @ 42 with MI)
-Blood pressure still okay but a little higher than it use to be
-Sugar is good...but for how long? probably have Metabolic Syndrome

Okay, here's the embarrassing part. I'm a cardiac nurse. I assess and teach clients with heart failure. I know better! I want to be a better example for those I teach!
