today I can cross one more thing off my fitness bucket list.. Its been a LONG time goal of mine to reach 20k in steps in fit bit, prolly since July 2014 and today I made it.. I was on the treadmill and ready to call it quits and one of my friends cheered me on and I just had to go for it. I could hear the rocky theme in my head. And when I hit the 20k i literally started to cry, I mean I cried.. Happy tears but crying none the less. I called my bff and posted it on facebook, and Im sooooo stoked. Did I say I cried happy tears??..blah blah blah.. I cant think of anything else any more, yada yada.. OH wait.. need to log my meals !! bwhahahahah Have a great evening buddies.. xoxo andee

I think that's the benefits of the fitbits. They give you actual feedback on what you've accomplished physically. That can be a huge boost to motivation and determination. Well done.

"Pain is my friend" is an inspiring workout quote I use on myself sometimes, especially when I've plateaued or feeling lazy. It's from Daniela Ryf who just won the World Ironman this last October. Way to go Redgirl, now I can add "Redgirl did 20k steps" when I need another inspiration!!

That is awesome. I've yet to hit 30K steps, but I know I will one day. I have hit 25K a few times, and trust me it is taxing on the feet. But congrats and on to the next goal. Way to go!!!
