40 yrs old wife and mother of two grown boys. I work from home and love cats.

Ive lost weight on low carb before but havent been able to make it a lifestyle. Here's to hoping it sticks this time. :)

I lost 60 lbs on Atkins 3 years ago but didn't make it a life style change so i gained the weight back. SO , i know it works if you work at it. Im on induction now and have lost about almost 25 lbs this time. I started out really strict to get ketosis started and now I am at 20-25 net carbs a day. Im using the Atkins book as a guildeline and a menu planner but I also improvise. I started to lose around the 2nd week this time around but the 1st time I did it I lost 15lbs in 2 weeks. Im steadly losing 1-2 lbs per week. Get the book if you havent already. I carry mine in my purse. I also plan ahead and that helps. Feel free to look at my meals and exercise and add me as a buddy.

FIT BIT
Ive been using my fit bit for exercise and sleep and alot of co workers have fit bits and then i just started here for food and the community bc ive been here before and I like that FS logs my net carbs easily for me. I was just wondering bc it would be nice if they synced. Smile

i just havent bought any more bananas. low carb means low carb regardless of how good banana is for you.

Iate a banana today, which I know is not low carb. I went to boot camp today and the banana was soooo good after my work out. I logged it to keep track of it, but geez, 20 carbs in fruit??
