I'm a 44 year old mum of a 14 year old daughter, and 12 year old son. I've been married to my lovely hubby for 15 years. I struggled with my weight as a teenager in that I was always on the heavy side of normal but at 5' 5" and a very small frame it always felt like a struggle. During my adult years my weight has gone up and down but steadily increased by about 3lbs per year since my son was born. I have dieted for a couple of weeks at a time but always seem to put back more than I lose. This time however I feel different. I have been playing tennis for a couple of years and really enjoy it but have noticed that I'm slow around the court because of my weight. I started dieting and exercising more at the end of November after hitting 170lb and feel that for the first time in my life I want to lose weight more than I want that chocolate bar or glass of wine. I found this website by chance and I am hooked. The success stories are so inspirational and knowing that I am not the only one who is having this life long battle is a great comfort. It really suits me to have the little graphics and the records of food and exercise. I'm hoping that with the help you are all giving without even knowing it this time I can succeed. Thx.
