I am 40 years old and have been dieting off and on since I was 12...not my idea, but my mom's who always struggled as a child and adult with her weight. I don't want to blame her for my struggle, but I think the years of her having me on diets when I was 5'2" and 105 pounds messed me up a bit. As an adult I crave sweets and junk...I used to go into my own pantry and pig out...geez I am an adult now I could have sat at the table to do that, but I always felt like I had to sneak.

So now that I am into my 40's and I have two wonderful friends that have banded together with me to get fit and healthy it is time to stop the yo-yo dieting! I put a picture of myself and my friend that is on fatsecret...once the other one joins I will have to get a group photo!

Here is to a healthy and skinny 2010!!

Logging Food
Type in the item you are looking for and if it doesn't come up you can just add it in and make sure to share so others can use it too. Click the New Item (in blue) next to search and enter all the info from the carbquick box. You can also add the recipe into the cookbook and it will be available for your diet journal that way too!

Changing a favorite meal Recipe on Fat Secret
Hi RoyalJewel,

You should be able to go into your cookbook and edit your recipe and change the servings...then when you enter that meal it it should just enter 1 serving...good luck!

Really New and REALLY Lost-Atkins
Hi Neddyk...unfortunately yes you do have to add those carbs in as well. You should have 12-15 grams of veggie carbs. It definately makes me write everything in here before I eat it...in fact I have been planning my days the night before and have been staying on track much better. Good Luck with you weight loss journey!
