Crockpot Carnitas

  1. Put all ingredients in the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low 6-12 hours, depending on the available time.
  3. Serve as tacos, on a Mexican salad or as a stew.

This recipe was easy and delicious! You just can't have too many great crockpot recipes. We had the neighbors over and it was a hit with everyone. I ate it as a taco with black beans and corn tortillas. I will definitely make this again!

I have my own variation of this recipe with regard to its prep, but still in the Crockpot at low for 8 hours. I serve mine with whole Romaine heart leaves, smear a little sour cream, meat, hot sauce and shredded mex blend cheese. Lettuce carnita tacos.

I used less tomato to cut some carbs & served on a bed of lettuce with shredded cheese & sourcream, the kids had theirs on tortilla. Great, tasty dish!

This is so delicious! But I'm just not sure about the serving size. I found another website that was a similar crockpot carnitas recipe that said it was 176 calories per half cup.

Can't go wrong with pork should slow cooked.. Very good. I made my own Mexican Seasoning and this would have tasted better had I did better there.
