Healthier, yummy, low fat and high fiber chocolate brownies.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- Stir eggs with sugar and vanilla. Add applesauce.
- Sift chocolate (such as Ghirardelli brand) with 2/3 cup whole wheat flour, powder, and salt. Stir into egg mixture.
- Spread into greased 8x8" pan sprayed with cooking spray like Pam.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes.
- Note: add a small amount of chocolate chips if you like.

I didn't like the texture of these. The taste was okay and maybe would be better with cool whip on top. Not a favorite, but if you just need a chocolate fix and low calories, not terrible.

I had to add no fat milk to the mixture because it was to dry. Tasted like Coco Cardboard. Not worth the time or money to make.

Good topped with frozen fat free cool whip. My niece won't eat anything healthy and she ate a bunch of these.

It's really good when you put a chocolate topping on it...when it's still hot out of the oven, put chocolate chips on top and let them sit until they start melting, then spread around...makes these brownies so much better.
