My starting weight was clocked in about 2 weeks prior to my start date at the doctor's office. That was a shock to be sure. "270, wow, you kiddin?" was my initial reaction. But come to think of it, my clothes were getting tighter (and not in a John Travolta Stayin' Alive kind of way).
So I clicked on the link below and found out that instead of big and cuddly I found out I'm pretty much a heavy hitter... :(

Then I found this corner of the web and was interested. But then again, maybe registering at this site is a really a means to an end to get a new smart phone so I can log all of my entries from the table after a nice meal!
How did I get this heavy? I really enjoy all the right foods, I just need to learn when to put down the fork...
But maybe if I loose a few pounds, it might allow my bike to go faster, lower the center of gravity and turn a bit more nimbly. That would be a welcome change to be sure!
Anyway, I was born in Detroit, moved to Texas, lived there through the 80's and 90's and moved back to the motor city at the turn of the century currently living with my bride and two puppies. (all three of them are always begging me to go for a walk...)
I probably should listen and obey more often.
