Current Weight:(17 Nov 09) 172.4 lb
Goal Weight:135.0 lb
following: Weight Watchers
performance: gaining 7.7 lb a week

I'm 35, married to my husband, William for 5 years and we have 2 kids, Mary's 9 and Willie's 4.5(will be 5 in December). We live in Dover, Delaware, although we only moved here in June from Maryland. I've been on Weight Watchers since 6/14/07 and have lost 55.3 lbs since then. While it's been a slow process, it's staying off, and for that I'm grateful.

I am looking to get to the 140s by the New Year, but I'll be happy to continue losing instead of continuing to yo-yo, like I've been doing since January this year.

Recommended Daily Intake
Dylan:
Try eating more low fat instead of fat free items(2% milk instead of skim, etc) and slightly larger portions. If you eat too few calories, your weight loss might slow of even STOP because your body will go into 'starvation mode', and you don't want that!

Going Out To Lunch: O'Charleys
Good job on looking up the NI before you went and sticking to a low point meal even after they told you you COULDN'T have the tilapia. I've never heard of such a policy?? I would've asked for a mangager, as that sounds RIDICULOUS to me! I always order fish or salad when I go out, since the burger are usualy NOT lean meat and they're HUGE. I made the mistake of ordering a veggie burger from Ruby Tuesday's one time and it was *13* points JUST FOR THE BURGER/BUN. I know i could've taken it off the bun, but it still would've been like 7-8 points(yes, it was big, but stil??) I should've ordered their salad bar and called it a day, but i didn't Sad. As for O'Charlies, you should call them and tell them they need to post that somewhere so people would have a choice to go somewhere else next time, IMO.

Recommend Daily Intake # of Calories
Yes, I notice that too. I have been yo-yoing on WW the last year(7 lbs) so I wonder if I'm not eating ENOUGH??? Not sure what to do about that. I've lost 55.3 lbs in the last 2 years, but I lost the first 45 lbs ALOT quicker(thus eating more points). I'm thinking of just going with calories instead of points. Any other thoughts??

What to do when your points don't seem to be enough
Have you tried eating from the Filling Foods List? Have you retaken the Points quize to make sure you're eating the correct amount? Don't be affraid to use your weekly points, that's what they're there for. Don't earn APs just to eat them, but feel free to eat them if you're TRUELY hungry.

Zumba!!
I, too, joined a Zumba class at my local Y and I LOVE IT! Best/easiest 600 calories I've ever earned! I do it every Friday night, and once dd's volleyball season is over, I'll do it on Mondays too(she has volleyball practice at the SAME TIME, BOO!)
Definitely try it Ariel!
