I've never been heavy except when I was pregnant. I was always running around NY. up and down stairs for trains and walking blocks. I ran a salon and day spa so I was always on my feet. When we moved to NC, my life slowed down. I became more of a caregiver and volunteer and put myself last. I knew I gained some weight but didn't realize how much I let myself go.
This pic taken Sunday was my wake up call. I'm usually the one with the camera taking the pics not in the pics. When my friend sent me the pic yesterday..all I could do was cry. How did I get this big! I'm 240 pounds!
I thought that isn't me...I'm behind the gray haired old lady. Then I realized it is me....I thought I ATE ME! That is not me....
And so my journey begins....to lose between 90-100 pounds. To drink less coke and more water. less nachos and cheese, less hot wings and more fresh veggies and chicken salad. NO Lap surg quick fix. Everything that goes in my mouth get counted on this website. EVERYTHING! I'm not the hiding type.
