I've been overwieght since puberty. I think I just grew up in one of those households where throwing away food was a "mortal sin"! ;) So I've basically had to retrain my entire thinking on food. It's meant for sustenance, not self fulfillment or a way to entertain myself.

So anyway, One day I just hit a wall. I looked at myself in the mirror and started grabing all this extra fat that I didn't have before. I had enough and said "NO, no more!"

I'm through with feeling fat, I'm done with thinking that "this is just what I am meant to look like". I know I can be the best version of me possible, and I'm finally ready to make it happen!

Goal # 1: 10% weight loss = 19lbs loss (170 lbs)

Do you eat foods you don't like just because they're healthy?
It's crazy, My roommate and I are both trying to lose weight and I cringe whenever i see her meal choices. She makes things that are just boring and flavorless, while i take risks and try new recipes that fit into my calorie intake limits. While i may be losing more slowly than her, i feel like I can make all these different recipes for the rest of my life and not be completely and utterly miserable.
Let's hear it for yummy AND nutritious!

WW Points -- Kinda Sorta Back?
Healsdata... You are my HERO!!!!! Thank you so much for this. In the week or two that we haven't had the points I've seen a steady decline in my eating and i even gained a pound. It just sucks to have the rug pulled out from under you without properly allowing us to get used to a new system. I learned my lesson, WW shouldn't be the only way I know how to lose weight but it's great to have the ability to still use it while i learn how to make do with out it. A MILLION THANK YOU's! You Rock!
