My name is Lisa, I am 54 and live with my best friend, my boyfriend of 7 years and his 86 year old father who is going through some health issues right now. My boyfriend is the most supportive and positive man I have ever been with. I am I have my own health issues, an 80lb regain which seriously exacerbates my back and leg pain. I am a bariatric surgery patient since 2002 and maintained a 240lb weight loss until the past 2 or 3 years and through a combination of factors regained about 80lbs. I am trying to work in exercise despite the pain. My goals are to be healthy, for a decrease in pain, to be able to do things I need to do for daily living and to be able to get in some wants like enjoying travel and other activities in retirement.

Constipation issues
I have just started my third week on Atkins induction and I take a daily narcotic medication for chronic pain. I am so constipated. I am trying just about everything I have read about, drinking about 80 to 100 ounces of water daily, eating lots of green leafy veggies, taking a tablespoon of Metamucil 3 times a day, taking two pericolace twice a day, and taking approximately 1500 milligrams of magnesium a day taken 3 doses.I am doing all of this everyday and have been for about 3 days now. Things are still hard so to speak. Really hoping things will kick in and get moving soon
