following: Vcravener's Atkins diet
performance: losing 0.1 lb a week
High everyone my name is Vicki and My husband and I just started the Atkins diet on December 27. I'm married a I have four kids who are all are grown- up. Our three daughters have families of their own now and they gave us six beautiful grandchildren. My son lives with us he was in an auto accident six years ago and has suffered a brain trauma he doesn't talk and is unable to walk. He does know what's going on around him at least we think he does. He watches tv and smiles at our jokes.
I'm unemployed at the moment and have been for the last six months. Which is when I stared putting on all this weight.
I used to walk six miles a day plus I would walk on my elliptical for an hour in the evenings. Now I get out of breath just climbing a flight.
Update I started working in my home taking care of my son in March I'm not making as much money as I was, but the time it gives me to spend with my son is priceless.
Things I like to do : Spend time with my family, reading romance and adult paranormal stories, doing jig-saw puzzles, going camping with my husband, and working as a nursing aide for my son.
My workouts are walking on my elliptical for two hours and riding my stationary bike for 30 minutes 5 days a week.
Fridays I consider my free days, because my husband and I go out to dinner for date night.
Weekends are my rest days to allow muscles time recover from my weekly workouts.
I'm also looking for some buddies to help me on my weight loss journey, so if you need a buddies to help you to please consider me.
1). Lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week and stay under 20g of Net Carbs
2). Remind myself daily on why I'm doing this diet.
* To get myself healthy so that I can enjoy doing things again without getting out of breath.
*. To look better in the mirror and to other people.
