I joined FatSecret in July of 2012, along with my dear friend and her sister. I thought it was time to update by bio. My weight loss journey was well underway when I joined. To date, 6-28-14, I have lost 50 pounds. I had been at a 55 pound loss, but life happens....

My ideal weight, I think for me would be 135 pounds. I will be setting my goals every 5 pounds until I reach them.

I enjoy gardening, and in the last year or so, I have learned to hula hoop!!! I was 55 when I learned!!!! ♥

Here's Hoping
I understand. I have done the same thing. You feel like all your efforts don't count, but they do. For me it is learning what tiggers me into a binge. Usual stuff...stress, letting myself get too hungry. I am trying to get a handle on both. I will have a binge. But I don't keep too much of the bad stuff around anymore. So it is hard to binge on Cheerios or Special K cereal!
With those my binges don't last too long before something clicks and says I need some protein!

Why can't I get lower than 140 lbs? :(
I wish I knew the answer to the question too! I WAS at 150 this time last year. I gained to 155, and tetter to 157. Can not seem to drop. I have a fast pace job, exercise 1 1/2 hours, 2 days a week, 45 minutes the other 5 days. When I work so hard to loose and see a gain, then I get discouraged and have a binge. Bad cycle. :/

I Need Tips for beating sugar addiction.....
Hey, really rough day. Hit the sugar....candy/ brownies.....pretty hard today. Brownies were at work. Then at the store (like the brownie "set" me off) the candy just fell into my cart, then into my mouth. In my car before I even made it home.....Crying or Very sad I know I have a problem......Crying or Very sad This has happened before.
What are some of the ways you fight this addictionQuestion
