Updating again...
I'm 24, happy and look better than ever before in my life.
My scale already showed 183 lbs (in 2007)... ewww.. yes... overweight! Then I lost about 25 lbs (in 2008) by trying different things, gym, eating less, etc... it worked but it took forever and I was never able to get to my goal, I stayed overweight!

So... in May 2009 I joined FS @ 158 lbs... I since watched my diet, exercised regularly and lost quite fast the first 15 lbs... I have changed my goal weight to 135 lbs on Sept. 1st & will try to get as close as possible to that number. I give myself time and no pressure, I have until the end of this year and would like to maintain a healthy weight just under 140 lbs. I am not trying to get skinny - but fit, healthy and sexy looking... which is all almost accomplished! This site has helped me big time to track my food intake by counting calories. So far so good!

1st goal: 140 lbs - accomplished on Sept.6th 2009 (1 day before my b-day, nice gift to myself!!)
2nd goal of 135 lbs - November 4th 2009 °Achieved° (1 month in advance!!!)
Next Goal is 130 lbs... no pressure, goal is to maintain 130 lbs once reached!

Frequency of Weigh-Ins: Everyday vs. Once a Week
I do weight myself every morning and record it on fs. I helps me a lot because I ''carry'' my weight on my mind and know if I went up 0.5lbs that I need to eat something lighter/less or exercise more. It would drive me nuts not to weight myself for a week (like during my vacation and I went up 6lbs and luckily went down 4.5lbs, 2 days later) I got shocked and decided that if I let myself go a little bit it could get too far! My weight can go up and down maximum 2lbs from one day to another, generally it fluctuates from 0.5 lbs to 1.0 lbs.

Do you like bananas?
I just eat 2 of them today... they are high in calories and carbs, but it's better to have 2 bananas than a burger or something else!
I dont like them brown, they get too sweet and impossible to eat... I don't like them green either they are sour and too hard... just the yellow ones and branded ''Chikita'' they are the best ones, tender and yummi!

ArielR, I would suggest maybe to go to gym and try doing the cardio on trademill and as you go increase the speed, without running. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to run because of your health, I hope you will not run and be careful.

As for the lost inches and fat %... Congrats!!! There is something in here for you, just hang in there, keep venting because we are here for that, someone will always read your posts and reply with a positive feedback and give you motivation to keep on going! Small steps are crucial and if you try to diet and exercise (do exercises that are ok for you no matter what it is) you will move down with your weight. It has to start going down if you discover what is right for your body and the only way to find that out is to keep on trying different things. Good luck to you and check-in every time that you need to do so!

Feedback Needed!
I know that for me, the calorie count and exercising on a daily basis helped. You have to combine or it won't work. I was going to gym having a personal trainer and eating whatever, weight loss was very poor... maybe 5 or 10lbs at most... and then when I would eat less and not exercise again there was no results. When I started doing both, eating healthier and smaller portions (normal portions) and exercising about 40mins every single day of the month (that exercise was 200 crunches and then adding some random exercises) and I lost since May 2009 what you see on my ticker... not too much, but still!
