Born 1960; Married my high school sweetheart in 1980; We live in Nebraska. Four grown daughters (all beautiful) and one granddaughter who is approaching her 5th birthday. Work has me on the road about 90% of the time, mostly to the Southeast or to DC.
Love to travel. Love to eat. Love to drink: wine, beer, Southern Comfort; pretty much like it all! And, used to love to run and work out, to help me stay trim. Over the last few years I've worked out less, and eaten/drank more, which resulted in a few more pounds each year. This year - I decided its time to reverse that trend.

I owe Fat Secret a lot of credit. This website provided me the tools I needed to overcome my weight problem. I lost 30 pounds in approximately two months, during January and February. It is now May and I've kept the weight off. Including during a lovely Florida vacation with my spouse, and during two fabulous "dining out" events that included ball gowns, free-flowing wine, and meals of many courses. I haven't been "true" to the site during maintenance; I tend to jump on or off the site when I feel the need for renewed discipline or when someone else I know joins and needs a friend.
