Chapter 3 of my FS bio -- I recommitted to FS in September 2015, weighing in at 186.8, just about 7 pounds more than I'd weighed when I left the community, but of course, in the interim I'd gained and re-lost almost 50 pounds! Now, a year later, I'm hovering between 157-158, so I've managed to shed almost 30 pounds over the year. I'm impatient to be dropping below 150, but I am proud of the past year because I think it's evidence that I've made real change in my lifestyle and my eating habits. This year, I have to work on making that change permanent and continuing to sustain my downward trend and reach my goal by 2-13-2017.

Updated goals for 2016-17:
- Drop net carbs below 100 and calories below 1400 until back skating and going to the gym (can't go right now due to shoulder injury)
- Lose .5 to .75 pound each and every week
- Participate regularly in agility lessons, ice skating lessons, or other regularly scheduled exercise each and every week (as soon as I resolve my current shoulder injury!)(have been meeting this goal since December 2016)
- Walk or use exercycle 15-20 minutes daily (40 minutes until I start skating again) (have been meeting this goal daily)
- Reach my goal weight by February 13, 2017
- Hold at goal until February 13, 2018
- In honor of 65 birthday, get new driver's license with new photo of new me

Turning yogurt into dessert
I've always been bored with yogurt as a snack. And in the past I've found that yogurt doesn't fill me up. But lately I've had some success with Siggi's Icelandic Style Yogurt with mix-ins. Siggi's is a thicker texture yogurt -- more like sour cream -- but you can get it in non-fat and low-fat, and it's low sugar -- even the flavored ones.

So I now have two favorite snacks:
1. Pumpkin Pie Yogurt Snack -- Mix one container of Siggi's pumpkin yogurt with 1/4 ounce raw pumpkin seeds, 1/4 tsp of dark brown sugar, and a hefty spring of pumpkin pie spice. This is really yummy.

2. Orange Ginger Yogurt Snack -- Mix one container of Siggi's orange ginger yogurt with 1/4 ounce raw pumpkin seeds and one peeled, sectioned Clementine. Also quite delicious.
