performance: losing 1.7 lb a week

Hi all....well, I'm trying this site for motivation as recommended by my sister. We'll see if it helps. I'm currently on the Blood Type Diet (Type O). I've been on this for a couple weeks (although last week I TOTALLY cheated!)I haven't lost any weight on it but have noticed that overall I feel a bit better. I'm on medication that is making it extremely hard to lose the weight and it's frustrating as Hell!
I love starchy food, dairy and corn....all of which I'm not suppose to have. My sister is doing Atkins, which works well for Type O's...so I guess I'll basically be trying that also.
Wish me luck and good luck to all of you!

THe diet online??
I would also suggest getting the supplemental O Type book ...it's only a couple bucks and it's so much easier to look up stuff rather than the internet....however the internet is a great way to get started. I'm also an O and thankfully love cow. I have learned via reading about this and via my nutritionist that leafy greens are a must (chard, spinach, romaine---stay away from iceburg) and that wheat is a heck no! Dairy is more of a should stay away from but I've noticed that a little cheese added to something isn't gonna kill me. I'm still somewhat new at this and due to medication can't lose the weight but I do notice a difference in the way I feel if I cheat and eat corn or wheat. If you are a vegetarian you will probably do fine...as long as you find a way to get the protein as in fish or something.
