I am a 24 year old full time college student and full time employee (I am the one on the left). I live with my boyfriend who I have been with for a year. I am and always have been obsessed with my weight...not healthy. I am one of those people that wish I could be as skinny as the supermodels...you know the ones that everyone says that they need to eat a sandwich. However, I have never even been close to that skinny. I was cursed with an hour glass figure which my boyfriend loves but I am still not happy. I am 6 feet tall so I don't look like I weigh 202. I am trying to get to 170. About a year and a half ago I was 235 so it is possible but it seems like the closer you get to your goal, the harder it gets...blah!

BusinessWeek: It's Best to Weigh Yourself Every Day!
I kind of do the 18-hr fast except it is the 13-hr fast and it works pretty good. I don't eat after 5p (generally) and I stay active until about 10:30 at night. Then I eat again at 6 am after my workout. If I am super hungry when I wake up and think I need to eat before exercising, I have a small V8.

BusinessWeek: It's Best to Weigh Yourself Every Day!
Information is correct. There are so many articles out there that contradict each other regarding the weighing everyday. But as I have said before, I have to weigh everyday to hold myself accountable. If not, I will cheat and think that I have time to work it off before my weigh in. If you weigh in everyday, you have to think about what you are eating everyday.

Relacore, Hoodia, etc.
I have tried a lot of diet pills as well. The only one that worked well for me was metabolife when I was 16. However, they have changed the formula since them b/c apparently they found out it was bad for you. I have heard mixed reviews about Relacore but I have not tried it before. However, hoodia did not do anything for me.

Phase 1 SBD Buddy?
Once you are off of phase 1, fiberone and Kashi whole grain cereals are fab. I have them with FF soy milk for the protein. It has been working very well for me.

Hi, I'm Jenn!
Jenn:

I have been dieting my whole life as well and I am only 24. I have not been diagnosed with anything so it seems my body's reluctance to lose weight is just good ole genetics. It is good to hear someone who refuses to except being overweight because of a medical condition. It will be hard for you but we are all here for you - to support and encourage when times get tough.

Welcome!
