I am an athlete and have been since I was five. After playing intercollegiate soccer in community college my level of activity has not been the same. When I went to a university I still was playing soccer but only once a week and I worked out for an hour five days a week. While I was doing that I was concerned about having an awesome body and being heathly but I was never satisfied with how my body looked. Even thought I was sticking to a healthier diet and exercise plan then, I was not completely concerned about myself because I was preoccupied with school. Now it has been over a year since I graduated and obviously have gained more than I want-but I am finally on the right track adopting healthy eating habits and a pretty consistent exercise plan thanks to GNC and the help of my other classmates. I know I can get to my ideal body because when I did have it in the beginning of college I did not appreciate it the way I do now. The other main reason that I want to attain my goal is because I want to enter a business that depends on having a body and confidence that people look up to. I hope that this site will help me stay on track and give the motivation and support to reach and maintain my goal as well as help others in their own triumphs.

Eating before or after a workout
I heard that if you exercise in the morning on an empty stomach you burn lots of calories, but if I don't eat before I work out I feel like I am going to pass out. You should see if eating before gives you more energy. If you don't eat then make sure to eat something small after to keep your metabolism up. Smile

Self-sabotage
Why is it that when I got comments about looking thinner, the day after I almost cheated? Does that happen to any of you guys and if so how do you deal with it so it doesn't cause setbacks?
