About this Challenge:

~~10-15lb Weight Loss Challenge~~

For fatsecret members who need help losing some of those last few stubborn pounds or who want help jump-starting their weight loss journey, regardless of diet regimen or exercise choices by the end of August 2008! A number of mini-challenges have been set-up to help you meet your goals along the way. Please feel free to share recipes, exercise tips, and words of motivation in the forum!

Keep a daily food and exercise diary

Guidelines:
Record everything you eat and all of your exercise daily throughout the challenge. Studies have found that dieters who keep a food diary lose TWICE as much weight as those who don't keep a food diary.

Do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise 5 days a week

Guidelines:
Do any aerobic exercise (or combination of aerobic exercises) that gets your heart pumping on any 5 days of the week. 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day, even if broken up into separate 10 minute intervals, has been found to improve heart health, boost your immune system, improve your mood, and help you lose weight!
