Hey FS warriors !

My surgery went well for the most part. The Dr wasn't able to do the entire operation labroptically so they had to open up my abdomen to get everything out. Now the hard part is waiting for lab reports on the tumor to see if I am done and cancer free or if I will need to do some chemo.

I was discharged yesterday and am back at home but the pain pills keep me pretty out of it but getting better everyday.

Glad everything went well - strong painkillers are good aren't they? They may not even kill the pain, but you just don't care any more.

I would do as you have done: let them remove the tumor. However I'd never let them do chemo or radiation. Instead I'd use Ginger root and Ginger juice to kill the cancer. Ginger kills cancer three ways. look it up?

and chemo doesn't kill the cancer stem cells. so much research showing how chemo doesn't work. But it's the "normal and usual" procedures that doctors are obligated to use for insurance reasons. which also happens to be extremely profitable...

My mother at 88, my father at 54, my sister at 46 all died of cancer. I'm 73, I eat ginger every day. I have no sign of cancer.

this site tries to put a damper on ginger for cancer: http://blogs.mcgill.ca/oss/2014/03/06/walk-gingerly-before-declaring-ginger-a-cancer-cure/ and they recomend further research is needed. However, I suspect their motive. for insurance reasons, sticking to the normal and usual is the safest thing FOR the doctor and hospital. The research will never convince them all to deviate from "normal and usual" profitable treatments.
