Repeat after me: My excuses are what is between where I am and where I want to be. I will replace my excuses with reasons and get it done!
This is a snippet from a journal entry I posted 54 days ago, June 30th to be exact. 10.2 pounds ago.
If you were to round up the 54 to 60 and say for arguments sake an average month has 30 days, this would equate to is a little over 5 pounds per month in the last two months which coincidentally is consistent with my total loss between Jan and Aug. This leads me to believe that if I stay true to my self and continue to embrace my try, fail adjust method, I should be at the 60 pounds mark in October.
THIS WOULD BE EXCITING.
Repeat after me: My excuses are what is between where I am and where I want to be. I will replace my excuses with reasons and get it done!

Agreed Ches!! Very cool...if I can be so bold, here is a little advice...take as much ground as you can when you're on this roll...when you hit the next plateau or stall, switch to non scale victories for motivation (clothes fit, less fat, strength increases, better endurance, etc) and don't allow yourself to gain...then rev it up a notch and leave that plateau behind. Remember, sometimes no gain in a month is a big win too!!

BIG THANKS STEVE. I just came from a 35 min, 3.3 mile run by the Charles River [(My fastest time yet) Risin' up, back on the street, Did my time, took my chances.] I haven't run in 17 days. Bad me... NOT! Mixing it up, mixing it up. I walk 6 miles a day M-F or I can be lazy and only walk 2 miles bare minimum in the office. I appreciate your suggestions. I am experimenting. I peek at so many of your journals and amazed at the various things people do to get amazing results. This is fun.

@aacrocker & @Banathallah. You two are the most recent joiners. Here is a little hint. You are only as good as the company you keep. Check out the BIO's of all the others I thanked. I have been inspired by many of their journeys. This is why I share mine. I AM A FS Warrior and I will win. Welcome and hang tight!

Love that statement and yes, I'm thinking the excuses are pretty much the same for most of us. You're doing great!
